Xbox Conversion of Chopper 2.2 by stitch

This README is best viewed in NOTEPAD with no wordwrap

First of all let me state that I did not create this mod
in any way shape or form, I merely converted to Xbox form
and am providing a step by step tutorial to get it to work
on your xbox. It took me the better part of an entire day
to figure it out since I am new to the GTA modding scene.

Included in this .rar file is this txt document, the original
readme.txt by Rollies77, the .dff file, the converted .txd
file and a photo of the chopper.

The files you need to modify to get this to work are:
/data/carcols.dat
/data/handling.cfg
/data/vehicles.ide
/models/gta3.img
/text/american.gxt *optional*

Now the instructions I am about to give are going to replace
the Bloodring Banger car with this Chopper. The reasons for
replacing this car and not replacing the freeway are:

a. The coolness of this chopper is tenfold when you are
the only person in the game driving it.

b. By replacing the Bloodring Banger the chopper now sounds
like a big nasty oil spewing beast, as opposed to the
   tame sounding freeway.

c. It was a bigger challenge to figure out than a plain vanilla
   motorcycle replacement.

If you don't want to replace the banger and just want a freeway
replacement, the original readme will do, but why do that when
I made these 5 easy steps to follow? :)

Ok on to the show...

-------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1. "carcols.dat"

Ok the first step is simple, open carcols.dat with notepad
and find the bloodra line and replace it with this:

bloodra, 3,1, 36,1, 23,1, 23,0, 1,3, 79,1, 3,6, 36,6, 7,6

save and close carcols.dat

--------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2. "handling.cfg"

Open handling.cfg with notepad and replace the bloodra line with:

BLOODRA 800.0 403.3 4.0 0.0 0.10 0.0 103 1.40 0.83 0.51 5 220.0 70.0 120.0 R P 10.0 0.55 0 35.0 0.65 0.20 0.0 0.03 -0.05 0.55 0.0 0.0 0.24 10000 1002000 0 1 1	6

Personally i would delete the entire entry for bloodra then paste
the line above into the "bikes" section of handling.cfg right under
the freeway entry, just for asthetics really. This line makes the
bike fast and stiffens the suspension a bit for a more realistic
feel when riding.

Next, scroll down handling.cfg until you get to a bunch of lines
that start with ! You will know when you are there when you see
all the game motorcycles listed there. Add this line right under
the Freeway entry:

!	BLOODRA 0.10	0.05	0.30	0.062	30.0	25.0	0.945	1.20	0.7 0.1 33.0	-55.0	-0.006	0.5 0.3

Make sure that the line starts with ! and not ; because the ; will
comment out the entry, thus making it useless. Save and close handling.cfg.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Step 3. "vehicles.ide"

Open vehicles.ide with notepad (I love notepad) and find entry 504.
Replace the entire line with:

504, bloodra, bloodra, bike, BLOODRA, BLOODRA, bikeh,	motorbike,	10,	0,	0, 23, 0.654, 0.654,	-1

Save and close vehicles.ide.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Step 4. "gta3.img"

Open gta3.img with Img Tool 2.0 (availible at http://www.gtagarage.com)
REPLACE bloodra.dff and bloodra.txd with the files provided then REBUILD the archive.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Step 4 and a half. "american.gxt" *optional*

You can edit american.gxt with "GTA: San Andreas GXT Editor" availible at GTAGarage.com
Use it to find the instances of Bloodring Banger and rename it to whatever you want.
I renamed my chopper to El Diablo Chopper for example. If you decide to use it, use the
feature "find value" and not "find name".

--------------------------------------------------------------

Step 5. "Transfer your files"

Just transfer your files over to your Xbox and start it up. It should
work with any save game, to get your bike enter in the spawn bloodring
banger code:
Down, R Trigger, B, White, White, A, R Trigger, L Trigger, Left, Left

Viola! A badass chopper that no one else has, plus it sounds every bit
as good as it looks. Thanks to Rollies77 for making it, he deserves all
the credit and can be found on GTAGarage.com and GTAForums.com
